History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Arnold fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: Justin was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Layabout. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Layabout for hire.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and balancing his hectic life and new layabout responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Gomory lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Gomory abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Tailor they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Layabout, and he later adopted a second son.
