History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Interpreter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Interpreter work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She hates dire rats. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

Description: A 5'11" western man, he dresses in tan turtlenecks beneath a green coat with yellow slacks. His chestnut hair has been sun bleached extensively. This hazel eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He takes great joy in being the best Bowyer in town.

History: He was born in a small mountains village. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Drogo grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Drogo. Recently the stress of being a Bowyer has made it difficult for him to sleep.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Baker. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Baker for the past few years.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and regain custody of her daughter
