History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right hand, he is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest. His hair, while still mostly chestnut, has prominent grey streaks. His eyes are amber and beady.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Bernard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Bernard was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Bernard's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and she has money and likes to spend it
