History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Through the years after Jacoba was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Jacoba's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her childhood dream was to be a Locksmith, but she was a colossal failure. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his poetry dream.
