History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Bertram was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.
