History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Helen alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Barkeep hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
