The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He struck the Banker job and began his own company from there.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: Roland was born with his mother's beautiful face. Through the years after Roland was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Roland's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He tends to his Healer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
