Description: He is a physically imposing light-skinned man. He wears bulky tan painted plate armor. His auburn hair, when down, is lengthy. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Sellsword arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Through the years after Gerard was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Gerard's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and seeks redemption

Description: An older woman who likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather, she is not a threatening figure. Her red hair, when down, is lengthy. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.
Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.
History: She was born in the west. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Joan grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Joan. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and expand her business

Description: This fat southern woman has a bulbous nose and is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. Her skin is also unnaturally pale. She keeps her long silver hair kept up in a rat tail. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep amber.
Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. She invites people to come help in her community garden.
History: Oriel lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Oriel abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and she desires power and/or immortality

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Armorer. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 8 years.
Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and balancing his hectic life and new armorer responsibilities is difficult
