History: He comes from a rich northern family. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Dyer. She now owns her own business.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Being a Laborer kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Heather grew up listening to her father's many stories. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Shepherd. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Shepherd responsibilities is difficult; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
