Description: A middle-aged man, he prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs, and is pretty ugly. His moppish black hair is in a traditional bowl cut. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: Hubert hails from a village terrorized by illithids. In his youth he was a Locksmith, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger sister on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids.

Description: An older man who wears well tailored suits and hats with beautiful decoration. He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society, he is not a threatening figure. He keeps his brown hair in a flapper bob. His ears are large.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes giants are coming to abduct people. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: The child of a Seamstress, who enjoyed hunting, Gilbert was taken on many hunting expeditions. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: This woman wears a shirt that is too small, which lets her gut show, with a ratty brown coat over it. She has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized emerald on her left hand. Her red hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a top hat. Her green eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: Expand his business; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear
