She has relatively dark skin and is very physically imposing due to her abundance of muscles. Her long brown hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Joan grew up listening to her father's many stories. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 5 years.
