History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

History: Gifted from a young age, Roland studied abroad. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Roland grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food.
