History: Heward hails from a village terrorized by orcs. Through the years after Heward was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Heward's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Map Maker. He's also a talented Mercenary, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Elysande hails from a village terrorized by orcs. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by orcs. Elysande was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the orcs.
