Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes giants are coming to abduct people. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Hadwisa was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Hadwisa and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Through the years after Joan was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Joan's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

His one remaining eye shines violet.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. Justin was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Doctor. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
