History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Bookbinder they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Ruler, and she later adopted a second daughter.
