Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. Bernard is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. Being a Map Maker kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he feels kind of lost in life

Personality: She exudes charisma. She is a tour de force of persuasion. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: She was born in the south. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Bookbinder. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 6 years.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Bookbinder and was forced into it by her family; and further expansion of business

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. While she appears to be a normal Human, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and she is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
