Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bernard grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Bernard was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Hugolina was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Hugolina decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She has dedicated herself to building a better world.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
