History: Born in the north to a Layabout, Avelina learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. A gifted student she started as a Miner, but she got bored and became a Layabout. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Layabout for the past few years.

History: He comes from a rich western family. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
