Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Norman embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Norman is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He's also a talented Cook, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: Maynild is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Roofer arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She now mingles about in high society.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
