History: The child of a Mayor, who enjoyed hunting, Manfred was taken on many hunting expeditions. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He struck the Scribe job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: To be a Painter again; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, William embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: He was born in a small forest village. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, William never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Personality: She loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. She is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature bastard sword.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends.
