History: Miles was born the youngest of three triplets. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Katherine alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
