History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Navigator. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
