History: Katherine was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. A gifted student she started as a Painter, but she got bored and became a Tanner. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Tanner for hire.

Motivation: To be a Painter again; and she is unsatisfied with her job

History: Richard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He became a Glassblower soon after.
