History: She comes from a rich northern family. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Doctor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend.

He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
