History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Roland was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Henry was born with his father's beautiful face. After coming to the age of reason, Henry took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Description: This fat western man has a bulbous nose and wears a tan shirt, with a black mid length shorts with black tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them. His skin is also unnaturally pale. He sports a long chestnut beard, and similarly colored long hair. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His parents were killed by drow in a raid when he was still a young child. The drow captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he very much looks the part of a Ruler. His hair is golden and curly. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Anthony grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Anthony. He tends to his Ruler job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and a rival would like him out of the picture
