Description: A man of a pale complexion, he is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing green cape and mantle trimmed with soft white waves gently in the breeze. He keeps his auburn hair in a flapper bob. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep gray.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of orcs may trigger it at times.

History: Bertram hails from a village terrorized by orcs. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Bertram's homeland. Bertram decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

His beard is black, braided, and well cared for. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Bather they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Sellsword, and he later adopted a second daughter.
