History: He got into the Engraver business at a young age. When Roland reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He tends to his Engraver job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

She prefers to carry a pickaxe, but if one is not available she will default to her crossbow. Her left hand appears badly burned and disfigured. She has chestnut hair. Her face is scarred and worn.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. In her 14th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life; and she wants to get laid

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Gilbert was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. A gifted student he started as a Detective, but he got bored and became a Hunter. He's also a talented Detective, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: This dark-skinned female wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized blue coat. She is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. Her white hair, when down, is lengthy. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and she seems to be bored by most things
