History: Alexandre was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her psionic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Joan was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.
