History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. His childhood dream was to be a Scribe, but he was a colossal failure. He struck the Knight job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and sabotage a competitor

History: Nicholas lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Beggar and was forced into it by his family.

History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, giants burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying north to reunite her family. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
