After coming to the age of reason, Kyle took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and a strong sense of loyalty to human people

She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel.
