History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Sarah alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born in the west to a Gardener, Jocelyn learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. Being a Gardener kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored.
