History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. With bright black hair and a scraggly beard. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes brigands are coming to abduct people. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: Born in the north to a Scribe, Katherine learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. At a young age her father died while driving off some brigands. Her mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in falchion use. She has achieved small success as a Scribe.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and a deep hatred of brigands

Description: This late middle aged man wears light armors faded through time and improper care and is in decent physical shape. His black hair is braided into rings. His brown eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and to clean up the streets
