Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His wide-brimmed hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His eyes are a pleasant violet.
Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.
History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Don fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Description: A woman with a friendly, welcoming air about her, she wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. Her silver hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. Her amber eyes are slightly larger than normal.
Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.
History: Eleanor was born the youngest of three triplets. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and regain custody of her son

Description: With tan face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He wears a deerstalker hat to cover his moderate length brown hair. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are hazel.
Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Tanner but believes his peers are too gung-ho.
History: Trym lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter.

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Humans. His skin is light but he possesses many brown ritualistic tattoos. He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.
Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.
History: Arnold lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Blacksmith and was forced into it by his family; and he has passion for adventuring and risk
