History: Rosalind was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Thomas was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it
