History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature scythe.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he has passion for adventuring and risk
