Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Roland grew up listening to his father's many stories. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She is underhanded and not above using her wealth and body to get others to do her bidding.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Through the years after Juliana was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Juliana's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: Hadwisa hails from a village terrorized by illithids. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Hadwisa was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the illithids.
