History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Nicholas grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Nicholas. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and doesn't want to be a fortune-teller and was forced into it by his family

Personality: She will rave to anyone who will listen. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and to reunite with her old friends

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He wears a white cloak and cross-gartered yellow stockings. His moppish red hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His half smiles and amber eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
