History: Heward hails from a village terrorized by brigands. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting brigands, the young Heward began to lead the lost caravan. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He worked as a nervous Server and found it very stressful. He tends to his Server job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: Born in the south to a Layabout, Geva learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Layabout. In the meantime she has taken over work as a Layabout and occasionally as a mercenary.
