History: Galiena lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She became a Beggar soon after.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: She got into the Tanner business at a young age. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and doesn't want to be a tanner and was forced into it by her family
