History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He now mingles about in high society.

Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with her rolled up shirt sleeves this gives her a very relaxed look. Her auburn hair is thinning but still full. Her blue eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Beatrice embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She takes great joy in being the best Mortician in town.

History: Her psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Tanner they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Mortician, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Diggory's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He got into the Shepherd business at a young age. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Diggory has worked very hard to control his curse. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Shepherd for hire.
