History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Cook for hire.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with his Mason mother left him crippled. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud
