History: Cecily lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Dilettante and was forced into it by her family; and wants to raise her children well

History: Trym lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His first spouse was a Servant, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.
