History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Miles was born on a far southern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Interpreter. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Miles was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

History: He got into the Barber business at a young age. A gifted student he started as a Body Guard, but he got bored and became a Barber. He became a Barber soon after.
