He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: In the realm of puns, she cannot help herself. She feels obliged to make them. Energy wise she seems alert and responsive.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Aline was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Scribe they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Bowyer, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was born in the south. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and further expansion of business
