Description: He is a small man, but exceptionally fit. He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized blue coat. Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Chad is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She works hard and plays hard.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out.

He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines hazel.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Bertram was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

Description: Her right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise she appears quite healthy. She wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. Her hair is golden and curly. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her gray eyes.

Personality: She is a hateful person. She taunts others and blames them for her problems. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
