History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and doesn't want to be a seamstress and was forced into it by her family

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: Nicholas was born with his father's beautiful face. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and wants to raise his children well

Personality: She acts crazy and hedonistic. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Matilda hails from a village terrorized by brigands. In her 13th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud.
