He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He has styled his black hair well, parting it to the right. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his youth he was a Hunter, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
