Nicholas Cumberbatch, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This malnourished man wears an entirely grey suit with red socks and a vest with buckled shoes. His chestnut hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His gray unseeing eyes seem to look past you.
Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing singing.
History: Born in the north to a Slave Trader, Nicholas learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he is unsatisfied with his job
Ideals: Artistic. Flaws: Disease, Cynical. Bonds: Poor, Job. Occupation: Slave Trader
Voice: Irish accent

Anne Read, Female Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. She usually doesn't wear a shirt. She keeps her blonde hair in a pixie cut. She has a tattooed face.
Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Anne was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.
Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and she wants to meet her childhood hero
Flaws: Antagonistic. Bonds: Adventurer, Mentor, Family. Occupation: Interpreter

Agatha Holton, Female Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: She does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it. Her black hair is knotted and matted. Her face is scarred and worn.
Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. The war was a terrible time for her, and Agatha does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.
History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When Agatha reached her early adolescence her Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.
Motivation: She is content; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
Ideals: Passionate. Flaws: Ugly, Depressed, Mundane. Bonds: Military. Occupation: Navigator
Voice: Spits and sputters
