History: Everard was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. After a long history of fighting, Everard and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Born in the south to a Sellsword, Alice learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She worked as a nervous Sellsword and found it very stressful. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Sellsword.

History: Gifted from a young age, Balimaar studied abroad. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.
