Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. The war was a terrible time for him, and Alex does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Alex grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She never wears the same outfit twice, unless she absolutely has to.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Servant. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Servant for hire.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and balancing her hectic life and new servant responsibilities is difficult

History: Mary was born the youngest of three triplets. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She has never given up on her writing dream.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
